Program Description:
“Aspiring Men Educational Network” (A.M.E.N.) is a “Faith Based” program of “Tabernacle of Praise Redemption Center Church.” With a focus on six (6) areas: (1) Spiritual Foundations, (2) Focus Education, (3) Financial Literacy, (4) Leadership Development, (5) Community Service and (6) Expanding Horizons.
History
The “Aspiring Men Educational Network” (A.M.E.N.) is a dynamic program in Chicago’s Austin community. A.M.E.N. was established to address academic, social and spiritual needs that cripple the future of so many young people in the Austin community, particularly youth and young men With a special emphasis on student responsibility and ownership of the A.M.E.N. program we nurture student leadership and foster academic excellence. By providing academic incentives, discipline training, and a sense of family A.M.E.N. provides alternatives to academic apathy and gang membership.
Mission
The “Aspiring Men Educational Network” mission is to prepare young men for Christian leadership, academic excellence, and outstanding service to the larger community.

Destined To Be Kings/D2B Kings
The “Aspiring Men Educational Network” (A.ME.N.) is a program of the Tabernacle of Praise Redemption Center Church.
The “Destined to Be Kings” program challenges young men and youth to explore the dangers of violence, drugs and gangs; the key focus of program is character development, academic excellence and leadership development.
